Women's March, London, 2016: 30 Kickass Signs From Kickass People

I wasn’t able to properly take part in the march that went down on 21 January, but I had a spare half an hour during the day so I went to the nearest place that I knew it was passing and took out my phone.

The good thing about the protest being a general “You’re a dick, Donald Trump,” rather than anything more direct was that people were able to voice all kinds of concerns they had about his accession. For once, it made me feel proud to be British; as usual, it made me proud and happy to be a woman. When I had to leave, I cried a little bit.

Here are 30 of the most kickass placards I saw. There’s been plenty of publicity about how fantastically, creatively angry people have been — this is a small snippet just from those that passed me in just half an hour. Enjoy.
